Tour Lake Forest Academy, housed in the 1904 estate designed by architect Arthur Heun for J. Ogden Armour. The Italian Renaissance-inspired home was built on nearly 1,000 acres and was called “Mellody Farm.”
Celebrate the Historical Society’s 40th anniversary with this FREE series of walking tours illuminating the history of our community’s beautiful institutions of higher learning. Tour lasts about 90 minutes.
