Stage 13 Results: Fred and the Lucky '13 team in 43rd

History Tidbits: Stage 13 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona

  • The community first started as an Army Air Corps rest camp during WWII.  The city was incorporated in 1978.
  • The London Bridge (see photo above) crosses a narrow channel that leads from Lake Havasu to Thompson Bay.  It was bought from the City of London when the bridge was replaced in 1968. 
  • Piranha 3-D was filmed here in 2009.  It starred Adam Scott, Elisabeth Shue, Kelly Brook, Richard Dreyfuss, Jerry O’Connell, Ving Rhames and Christopher Lloyd.
